A safe, welcoming space for parents and babies across North Yorkshire
At Future Families, our aim is to provide gentle, accessible and evidence‑based infant feeding support for families in our community. We understand that feeding your baby can feel joyful, overwhelming, confusing — and everything in between. Our weekly FREE Infant Feeding Drop‑In Group offers a relaxed, friendly environment where you can meet other parents, ask questions, and receive guidance from trained professionals.
This group is designed to support all feeding journeys, including:
Breastfeeding and chestfeeding
Bottle feeding
Mixed feeding
Expressing and pumping
Responsive feeding approaches
Navigating common feeding challenges
Our focus is on community connection, practical support and reassurance, delivered in a safe public venue once a week for 2–3 hours. Families are welcome to attend at any stage, whether you’re pregnant, newly postpartum, or navigating feeding with an older baby.
We do not provide one‑to‑one clinical lactation consultations within this group. If you feel you need more in‑depth support 1:1 support you might opt to reach out to a private Lactation Consultant. Families are free to choose any consultant they feel comfortable with.
Future Families is committed to creating an inclusive, respectful and supportive environment for all parents and babies. You are welcome exactly as you are, and your feeding choices will always be honoured.
